Police searching for two men after robbery at property in Paisley


Police are searching for two men after a robbery at a property in Paisley.

Officers were called after a property on Walker Street was broken into at around 7.45pm on Thursday.

A search has now been launched for two men in connection.

The first suspect is described as being in his 30s, around 6ft tall and of medium build.

The second man is thought to be around 25-years-old, 5ft 6in tall and of slim build.

Both were wearing dark clothing during the robbery.

Detective sergeant James McAteer said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3420 of 29 August. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
